Small friendly Hatha yoga classes, some mats and sitting blocks available. All classes vary in format from strong power moves to smaller internal adjustments generally quite active classes.

Wed night classes in Markyate suitable for beginners that have some yoga experience, Tues in Caddington more beginners pace at the moment (April 2010) or enquire about other beginners courses starting in the area. Pranayama included most weeks. Prices £7 drop in, discounts available for bulk payment. If you have any questions please contact me, my classes are suitable for most people and I always encourage you to work at your own pace and take breaks when you need to. It is useful to bring something to cover yourself with (jumper or blanked) for relaxation and water should you require it.

I am looking to add specialist classes for those who are not so active eg back care classes and injury classes. If you have never tried yoga come and give it a go on a drop in basis, it focuses the mind, brings about a sense of calm and the changes to the body can be, if practiced regularly, amazing. I started yoga due to back problems and although they are not gone completely I am free from pain on a day to day basis and recover far more quickly if I put my back out of line. I no longer suffer from migraines and am able to cope with day to day stresses far better than ever before. Give it a go, you've got nothing to lose.
