A chance to question, explore and ultimately shine through the performing arts!
Loughton Youth Theatre was founded in 2008 as a collaboration between Roding Valley High School, Epping Forest Arts and St Mary's Church, in order to provide an affordable alternative to the many highly priced stage schools in Essex. The group meet on Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9pm, where sessions for 9-12 yrs and 13-16 yrs run simultaneously. Participants are introduced to a wide range of performance styles from musicals and monologues to live art, promonade and site specific theatre! The club offers a relaxed atmospere and a fun approach to developing unique performances and original work. There is a fee of £25 for a ten week term and each term culminates in a performance or presentation.
Our activities include : Theatre and Amateur Dramatics.
