BUJINKAN NINJUTSU
Bujinkan Ninjutsu also known as Budo Taijutsu was form by Hatsumi Sensei in 1979 to teach the nine Ninja and Samurai fighting schools that were passed on to him by his teacher Takamatsu sensei. The nine schools studied in the Bujinkan are as follows:
Togakure Ryu Ninpo, Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo, Gyokoshin Ryu Ninpo, Gyoko Ryu, Koto Ryu, Koto Ryu Koppojutsu, Shinden Fudo Ryu, GikanRyu Koppojutsu, TakagiYoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu and Kukishinden Ryu Happo Bikenjutsu.
GOSHIN
Goshin loosely translates as "defender of the spirit"so with using warrior body art and the techniques of the Bujinkan we study the ancient arts and try to develop them for modern life with the emphasis being self defence.
MAHOUTSUKAI
As well as be members of the Bujinkan we are also part of a smaller organization call the Mahoutsukai Dojo which commits it self to: Promote and encourage the pursuit of excellence through the study of traditional Japanese martial arts. This is done by REGULATED gradings and a common passion in the art amongst all its members.
We travel all over the country attending seminars and training courses held by top Bujinkan instructors.
All gradings are held at the dojo quarterly and will only be given to full Bujinkan members that deserve it.
