Stage Chance
About Stage Chance
Stage Chance was founded by Daniel Bell and Louise Sarll with Katherine Hickmott and Craig Carpenter in 2004. Stage Chance is part of an ACIS (Active Citizens in School) project providing the opportunity for all young people to be involved in all types of theatre. Its first production was Pinocchio performed March 23rd 2005, Lodeside Hall. Stage Chance has seen over 300 people involved in their productions and youth arts projects. Stage Chance strives to keep the magic of pantomime alive every year allowing young people to write and direct the pantomime themselves. Stage Chance pantomime has become an annual Christmas event for the Soham Community. As well as producing its’ own pantomimes it also stages a charity Cabaret every year around April/May which lets all young people take part. Their last cabaret production involved 100 young people on and off the stage. Stage Chance has raised over £8000 for charity.
