Canoe Trip - Friday 30th of April 2010Read More …
13 of the 16 turned up at Loch Park adventure centre Keith for a day’s canoe training with instructor Ian Clark from the Deveron canoe club, they had a cold but sunny day, they were put through their paces in their canoe trip pairs and they all completed the very essential rescue from the water canoe techniques, the guys all agreed that it had been very worthwhile and they all learned a lot from their day.
A Big thank you to Ian from the canoe club who made it fun on the day as well as getting them all very wet
Enjoy the pictures of the guys all doing their thing on the water remember they set off on the 1st of May for their challenge to canoe the length of the Caledonian Water Way right up to the top of Loch Ness a 63 mile long trip hopefully being completed over three days.
If anyone would like to sponsor the guys you can by contacting our club headquaters money raised will be split between our own club and other worthy charitable causes.

Aberdeen Classes Bigger and Better - Saturday 13th of February 2010Read More …
Our Aberdeen classes which are held at the Burgh Hall on Clifton Road every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm are now so popular that unfortunatly we have had to introduce a waiting list for new Students. The class's has become so popular that the club cannot handle the numbers of new students turning up to enroll due to the phisical size of the training area available.
The club have been looking into geting a larger venue for their classes, but in the Aberdeen City area this has been difficult to find, so if anyone out their knows of a suitable venue please contact our headquaters on 01346 512243
Kickboxing Club Instuctor training in Saudi Arabia - Monday 8th of February 2010Read More …
Leon who is one of our Kickboxing Instructors at the Clifton road club in Aberdeen has settled in Saudi where he will be working on a rota basis commuting back and forth, a great life if you can get it, Leon keeps in touch and lets us know how his training is going (there might be word of the Satorishido Kickboxing going global if Leon can open a class out in Saudi) great for the club but a bit to far for yours truly to travel for gradings, all the club wish Leon all the best with his new job.
Here are some photos Leon sent us from Saudi of the club t shirt being displayed outside Al-Musmak fortress, the Kingdom tower, and the Faisalia tower, Leon added, Hopefully get some more good ones when I get the chance to get out to the desert !
Bad day for Kickboxing - Thursday 4th of February 2010Read More …
Yes thats right the heading says it all bad day for Kickboxing as a seasoned Kickboxer and Coach of 20 years who has trained kickboxers to Pro and Amatuer World Titles and every Championship belt from Celtic up to World level, it is sad to see and hear about so called Kickboxing Instructors who after attending a weekend course on kickboxing are now advertising themselves as Kickboxing Instructors, they may well have a background in sport such as Taekwondo and are probably very good at it but now they seem to think a weekend course in Kickboxing makes them a Kickboxing Instructor who can advertise Kickboxing classes for beginners up to and including experienced students. If this is the future of Martial Arts then I can as a kickboxing Instructor attend a weekend course on Taekwondo and then start advertising the fact that I am qualified to teach the disapline I THINK NOT but what bothers me more about this dispicable indaviduals is the fact that they are playing with their students safety by not being properly qualified they run the risk of puting students into full contact bouts before they are ready. What is the answer I dont realy know to be honest but I suggest that every potential Kickboxing student checks out the Instructor who they are thinking of taking lesson from.

Ringside tables why not get a group of friends and book a ringside table, treat yourselves, no queuing at the bar for drinks, (waitress service) best seats at the show, ten people per table cost of a table £250 only £25 a ticket but hurry these usually sell out very quickly.
