About 471 Hesketh Bank & Tarleton Squadron
For young people aged 13 - 18 with an interest in aviation or adventure
We are a uniformed youth organisation, who provide young people the opportunity to learn to fly, glide, shoot, visit RAF stations in the UK and abroad, complete the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and take part in adventure training activities such as kayaking and climbing, a wide range of sports and loads more. We are not part of the RAF, though they support us, providing flying and gliding training at no cost. We are open to young people of all abilities, but expect our members to conform to reasonable levels of discipline.
Our main activity is Air Cadets.
