Welcome to Westmorland Step and Garland Dancers
We are a Kendal-based dance side performing both Westmorland step clogging and garland morris dances (and variations thereof).
Between September and April, we meet on Monday evenings to practise existing dances and learn new ones. Approximately half of each practice session is devoted to step clogging and the other half is for morris dancing.
During the Spring and Summer months, we perform outdoors in and around the Lake District.
We always welcome new dancers (with or without prior experience) as well as musicians.
After a trial period, we charge a £1 fee when using the Community centre
