Kingston Vale Operatic & Dramatic Society (kvods)

An amateur musical theatre company who perform 2 major shows per year

KVODS is a friendly amateur musical theatre company based in Kingston Vale, just outside of Kingston upon Thames. The group is for those aged 16 & over who love performing and who wish to partake in musicals. The group also have a youth section (Young KVODS) that is open to children aged 8 - 16 years by their first production. Both sections of the group hold regular social events including race nights, theatre trips, an annual BBQ and many others! Membership to both sections is via an audition. You will be asked to sing a verse & chorus of a song of your choice. We also give you a short piece of dialogue to read. Annual membership fees are £20 for adults & £10 for full time students and children. There is also a show fee which is usually in the region of £40 to £60. This amount is halved for full time students aged 16 & over.
