Allestree Theatre Group

The Allestree Theatre Group was founded in 1960 when a group of residents met at the house of Robert (Bob) and Roma Wilcock in Birchover Way, Allestree and since then we have presented two full length plays virtually every year.

In addition to our full length plays we also aim to stage at least one additional theatrical evening each year which could be anything from a murder mystery to a cafe theatre or a light hearted review as well as various social events throughout the year.

Although we are an amateur dramatics company we strive to be as professional as possible in all we do.

Our rehearsal nights are Mondays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. From the beginning of February to the end of April and the beginning of September to the end of October.

New members in any capacity and with or without experience are always welcome to come along.

Our activities include : Amateur Dramatics and Theatre.
