Welcome to York Archers
York Archers was founded in 1789, making it one of the oldest clubs in the country. Our archers range from recurve archers to longbowmen. We run frequent beginners courses during the summer and even one to one tuition. York Archers caterers for all ages and all abilities. We hold monthly club shoots for fun and if you fancy a challange there are also plenty of competitions run by the club and by other archery clubs around the country. Our main club days are Wednesday and Friday evenings, and all day Saturday and Sunday. We encourage anyone interested to come down and have a look around for themselves, and at the end of the night we all retire to the local pub for a drink and a chat.
