Welcome to Central Lancashire Amatuer Radio Club
Club Founded in 1985 by a few amatuer radio operators, we moved to the Railway museum a few years ago, having put on special event stations there. The club is reknowned for putting on special event stations all over Lancashire, from Fleetwood (trawler Jucinta) Hoghton Tower ( several there) to name a few. We meet every first Saturday of every month at 1400hrs, at the museum, all welcome to come and see us. We operate most weekends when the museum is open to the public, and at other times for special events.
We are based in the museum where we have a purpose built "shack" fully equipped for all forms/modes of radio communication from voice to digital modes.
