About Dorchester Art Club
The Club has just held its 51st Annual Open Exhibition in Dorchester Town Hall, and it arranges a full programme of twice-weekly indoor meetings in a church hall in Dorchester during the autumn and winter months, a weekly outdoor meetings during the summer. In addition to the annual Open Exhibition each August, the Club arranges an annual Members' Exhibition at about Easter time. The indoor meetings range from painting sessions and workshops to demonstrations by visiting artists. Membership currently runs at just under 100 members, and artists of all abilities are welcome, the annual subscription at present being £23.
Our main activity is Painting and Drawing.
